AfterFive Privacy Policy

Information we collect
Account information. If you create an account, we process identifiers such as your email address, authentication records, and session information.
Profile and community information. If you use Scene or partner features, we may process profile fields, display name, handle, city or home market, optional birth date, bio, interests, social links, posts, replies, reactions, event-conversation activity, reports, and media you upload.
Event submissions and partner information. We may process event details, flyers, ticket links, business or organizer profile information, and contact information provided with a submission or account-managed event.
Feedback and support. We may process the message, feedback type, optional name, optional contact information, and information you include when contacting support.
Location. AfterFive may ask your device for location permission to show nearby events and calculate distance. The current consumer web experience stores browser location on your device for nearby discovery. We do not require precise location to create an account, and you can deny or revoke location access through your device or browser settings.
Usage, device, and operational data. We process basic analytics and technical information such as page or screen activity, event and ticket-link interactions, browser or device information, network and server logs, errors, and security signals used to operate, protect, and improve AfterFive.
How we use information
We use information to provide authentication, saved and personalized experiences, nearby discovery, community and partner features, event moderation, support, fraud and abuse prevention, analytics, troubleshooting, service security, and product improvement. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
Service providers and external services
AfterFive relies on service providers that process information on our behalf, including Supabase for database, authentication, and storage infrastructure and Vercel for hosting, delivery, analytics, and operational infrastructure. Event discovery may also link to or use information from third-party event, ticketing, venue, mapping, and organizer services. When you leave AfterFive for a third-party service, that service’s privacy policy applies to its processing.
Public content
Information you intentionally publish to public profiles, event listings, or public community surfaces may be visible to other users. Do not place private, sensitive, or confidential information in public fields.
Retention and deletion
We retain account data while an account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and protect AfterFive and its users. When you permanently delete an account, the authentication account and associated consumer and Scene data are removed. Public event facts may remain as non-personal event records after account ownership and submitter contact information are removed. We may retain de-identified operational records and limited security, fraud-prevention, or legal records where required or reasonably necessary.
You can initiate deletion inside the signed-in account experience or directly at afterfive.tech/delete-account.
Your choices
You can choose whether to provide optional profile information, revoke device location permission, edit eligible profile and community content, remove eligible posts, report community content, sign out, or delete your account. Some browser-only saved preferences may remain on a device until you clear site data; AfterFive clears its primary saved-retention record when account deletion completes through our deletion page.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect account and service data, including authenticated server boundaries, access controls, row-level database protections, restricted storage paths, and operational monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
